Diablo 3 Release May 15th

If you’re anything like me, you’ve pre-ordered your copy of the long awaited end to the Diablo trilogy. You’ve possibly ordered the collector’s edition – complete with art, soundtrack, and soulstone containing Diablo 2, and LoD.

If you’re really hardcore, you’ll probably be picking up your pre-ordered copy at midnight tonight – while I’m warm, and comfortable in my bed.

Either way, tomorrow, the wait is over. Back to Tristram and the Kingdom of Khanduras we all go, to finish the battle many of us started in 1996, when the first Diablo was released. After Hellfire, we realised that the world of Sanctuary would never be the same.

Some of us entered Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo universe in 2000 for the second instalment. We played via LAN, and on Battle.net, taking current friends along for the ride, and making new ones along the journey. Later were met with Lord of Destruction, where we prevented the corruption of the Worldstone by Baal.

Tomorrow, 11 years after Lord of Destruction, we get to go back to where it all began, because ‘the End Times have begun’.

I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be leaving my house for a couple of days.

Play it alone, or sign up for multiplayer and create your own banner to use during gameplay, before the servers get clogged! Battle.net
