Now Eviscerating: Fiona Apple – Not About Love

Fiona Apple has been a staple in my music collection every since I was coherent enough to understand her lyrics.

Dark, moody, & a delicate tickler of piano keys, Fiona Apple is truly a woman after my own heart.

Much to my delight, her new album ‘The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Drive of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do’ will be released June 19th to the masses of angst ridden 14-20 somethings worldwide, who – like me – have been waiting for a follow up to what Rolling Stone described as ‘Tin Pan Alley-esque blend of Tom Waits & Vaudeville’.

I am talking of course, about Extraordinary Machine. The third album from the somewhat fame-shy singer was released in 2007. Thankfully, the long wait is over.

Until then, I’ll be sitting here, headphones on, tangled up with the likes of Criminal, Red Red Red, & Limp…

  1. I’m totally stoked for this album too. You have a date wrong though, EXTRAORDINARY MACHINE came out in 2005.
